And for those, who can’t let go of themselves and are targeting their personal best in the next full marathon this 33K can be the best marathon simulation run that will make them race ready.

Be fitting to be a king a “Chambal Rana” title is a worthy tribute for anyone who completes this grueling 33K in a cut off time of 6 hours. A runner will actually feel like a king, a victor, a vanquisher on reaching the finish point and carry this attitude in the next half/full marathon of your city.

The distinctive title will be a constant reminder of not giving up against great odds and will surely reflect in all walks of life.

Participation in Chambal Rana category is open to all above the age of 18 years subject to the Eligibility Criteria given below:

• Entry to the Chambal Rana is only against a timing certificate.
• A timed participation certificate from any recognized half or full marathon event within 18 months preceding race day of the Chambal Challenge.
• Timings of only recognized half or marathons will be considered to qualify for the Chambal Rana race category.
• Scanned copy of applicable timing certificate needs to be attached along with the application.
• All runners must be compulsorily timed using the RFID technology.
• Eligibility will be subjected to the following time cut offs:

Eligibility time cut-offs for the Chambal Rana category for men and women are given below.

Note: Please note, the acceptance of timing certificate for entry confirmation is at the sole discretion of Inshape Runners Club.

The qualification timings mentioned above will be considered only for eligibility of an applicant in the Chambal Rana race category.

The timing results, rankings and certificates of the Chambal Rana race category will be generated only for runners who complete the distance within 6 hours from the start time subject to that they meet other cut offs.

NOTE: The above cut-offs have been carefully worked out and are there for the well-being of the athlete.

Should a runner not make the cut-offs within the time allotted, they will then need to board the vehicle provided by the organizers to the finish. Ignoring the instructions of Route Managers and marshals will lead to disqualification.

Participants are provided a drop in official race vehicle from Green Valley Resorts at Rawatbhata Road to the start point of the race. All participants must report on time at the Green Valley Resort to get on the official race vehicle. There is approximately 1 hour drive time from GVR to the race start time.

Athlete’s can drop their hand baggage into the race vehicle and the same can be collected back at the finish line. The baggage should have a clear and distinctly identifiable tag along with Participant’s Name and Contact Number.

In order to encourage and set up a bench mark for runners we are introducing Cash Incentive on setting a course record in Chambal Challenge 2020. Any male or female runner who set up a new course record in the 2020 edition will be rewarded in the following manner:

• Open Category (Male and Female from18 – 49 years)
  • Top 3 places in both male and female category will be receive a Special Position Holder’s Plaque/Trophy in Gala Awards Night.
  • All finishers under 9 hours will receive a Specially Designed “Chambal Raramuri” running jacket/hoodi.
• Age Categories (Unisex)
  • Veterans (50-59)
    • Male or Female on top position will receive a Special Position Holder’s Plaque/Trophy in Gala Awards Night
  • Silvers (60-69)
    • Male or Female on top position will receive a Special Position Holder’s Plaque/Trophy in Gala Awards Night
  • Shining Silvers (70+)
    • Male or Female on top position will receive a Special Position Holder’s Plaque/Trophy in Gala Awards Night

NOTE:

1. If a Veteran or higher age category participant qualifies for podium position in open category than he/she will not be considered for the age category recognition. In such case the recognition in the respective age category will go to the next person in the race standing.
2. Age shall be calculated as on the race day.
3. A valid proof of age will be required for age based qualifications.
